How does a school district assess your child for services?  What tests are they doing?  How do I read the results?  What if I think my child needs more services and/or testing?

Hopefully, these next links will help answer some of those questions.  For me this one of the most confusing areas when dealing with a school.  I have found  many of these sites to be extremely helpful to me in preparing for my son's IEP meetings.   IDEA '97 also states that goals and objectives must be measured using something other "teacher observation".  Standardize tests should be used to see how your child is progressing.
