The National Governors’ Association, in partnership with the Administration and Bell Atlantic, has established a toll-free number (1-877-543-7669) to provide state specific information about Medicaid and CHIP (Children’s Health Insurance Program) to families across the country. Families accessing this number will receive information about eligibility criteria, benefits, and how to apply for coverage.
